| Angus gives maximum effort all of the time making him a knock-out cow dog. He packs a fair bit of heat, and with his tendency to circle hard, he's ideal for the rankest cattle. We are pleased with his scenting ability, his long range hunting style, and his big voice on tree. He is making a great coon dog. Angus is bulkier than we like to see in our dogs, but his outstanding instinct, drive, and heart have made him an important part of our pack. Angus is champion pointed in multiple working events with the NALC and the CHDA, and is pointed in conformation with the NALC. Angus was used in the cow dog trials at one time, but he is too used to working cattle in the field, so he is no longer used in the NALC cowdog trials. He is also a dual conformation Champion with both the Canadian Rare Breed Club and the UKC. Angus has 2 champion points in treeing, 8 in b-bay and 39 in conformation with the NALC and 6 champion points with the CHDA |
